Keach-Nordstrom Associates, Inc. (KNA) of Bedford, NH was established in April 1994 by its founding partners Steven B. Keach, P.E. and Ronald A. Nordstrom. Mr. Keach continues to serve as Principle Engineer and lead design professional at KNA.
Upon Mr. Nordstrom’s retirement in 2005, Mr. Anthony M. Basso, L.L.S. joined the firm as a partner and presently serves as both Survey Department Director and Vice-President.
Steven B. Keach, P.E., Principal Engineer & President, is the lead design professional at KNA. He has a diversified background with over 25 years of experience in civil/site design, land use planning, transportation systems and associated local, state, and federal project permitting. Mr. Keach’s background includes experience as a member of the Merrimack, New Hampshire Planning Board and as the Town Engineer for several communities in the State of New Hampshire.
- He has routinely served as lead engineer for dozens of civil/site engineering projects, directing the efforts of his staff throughout the planning, design and project permitting stages.
- He specializes in offering municipal services and has assisted various communities in the preparation of their master plans, capital improvements programs, and engineering design assignments for a wide variety of municipal projects.
Anthony M. Basso, L.L.S., Principal Land Surveyor & Vice President, is the lead surveyor at KNA and manages administrative and financial aspects of the company. He has a background in construction, land surveying, and civil engineering, including large site construction and road/bridge and highway projects for a private sector contractor.
- He is routinely involved in planning, designing, and securing local and state permits for both private sector developers and municipal clients.
- He is also regularly involved in a wide range of land surveying tasks, including boundary determination, interpretation of records research and supervision of daily survey operations.
We have two licensed Land Surveyors (ME, MA, and NH), four licensed Professional Engineers (ME, MA, NH, VT), one licensed Landscape Architect (NH), five licensed Designers of Subsurface Septic Systems, and one Erosion Control Specialist in house.
